Hi there!

I'm Rebe.

I'm a technical communicator, designer, and systems thinker who enjoys making complex information easier to understand and act on. My work sits at the intersection of design, content, and behavior, where I help transform complicated systems into intuitive experiences that support real people in accomplishing their goals.

Professional Life

Today, I lead experience design, content, and engagement strategy for digital products at UC San Diego Health's Jacobs Center for Health Innovation.

Throughout my career, I've worked across healthcare, technology, higher education, public health, and nonprofit organizations. Whether creating digital experiences, documentation, content systems, or communication strategies, I've always been drawn to the same challenge: translating complexity into clarity.

I enjoy partnering with users, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to solve meaningful problems and create solutions that are useful, accessible, and human-centered. What motivates me most is helping people navigate systems more confidently, make informed decisions, and find the support they need when it matters most.

Personal Life

Outside of work, you'll usually find me planning my next adventure (you should see my itineraries), volunteering in my community, woodworking, or hanging out with my rescue pups, Bambi and Pepper. I aim to read a book a week, love discovering new restaurants with friends, and consider spicy food a necessary evil. My favorite color to wear is tomato-bisque-red, and for reasons that have become increasingly difficult to defend, there's about a one-in-three chance you'll find me wearing a bald cap at an aggressively themed party.
